<p>This study aims to describe the form of difficulties in learning to read the Quran experienced by students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education in class X BIM ISLAMIC SCHOOL This research is classified as field research with a type of qualitative research. The data sources in this study are school principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers and students as primary data sources and documents as secondary data sources. The data in this study was collected by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The data was processed and analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that the forms of difficulties in reading the Qur'an for students varied, some had difficulty in pronouncing the letters according to the makhraj, and some had difficulty reading when connecting letters with other hijaiyah letters. <p>The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various fields, including education. One of its impacts can be seen in the increasingly diverse and interactive learning methods. This study aims to examine the role of digital technology in the development of learning methods for Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in Grade 10 at SMA Al-Chasanah Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through student observation. The results of the study show that the use of digital technology—such as presentation media, educational videos, and interactive quiz applications—can increase students' learning interest and help teachers deliver complex material more effectively. With adequate support, the application of digital technology can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of Islamic education in secondary schools. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Fiqih di kelas 7 SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Tanah Abang. Motivasi belajar menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran Fiqih yang membutuhkan pemahaman konseptual dan implementasi praktis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada 15 siswa kelas 7. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, studi dokumentasi, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif berperan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, ditandai dengan: (1) peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi kelompok, (2) kemampuan siswa mengaitkan materi Fiqih dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, dan (3) peningkatan kemandirian belajar. Strategi pembelajaran kooperatif yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Kemuhammadiyahan memberikan dampak positif terhadap motivasi intrinsik siswa dalam mempelajari Fiqih. Implikasinya, guru Fiqih perlu memperkaya variasi model pembelajaran kooperatif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik materi dan siswa.</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: Starategi Guru, Motivasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Fiqih</p>Gusmira WitaZahary Effendy

<p>This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in increasing students' motivation to learn Arabic at SMA Al Chasanah, West Jakarta. The research is based on the low student interest in Arabic, often due to perceptions of the subject being difficult and less relevant, and the lack of engaging teaching approaches. This is a qualitative study using a descriptive narrative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving PAI teachers and students.</p> <p>Findings reveal that PAI teachers play a significant role as motivators and facilitators. They not only deliver content but also instill religious values and a love for the Arabic language through spiritual and contextual approaches. Strategies include integrating Arabic into religious activities, using engaging media, and providing exemplary behavior.</p> <p>The study concludes that PAI teachers have a strategic role in fostering a religious and supportive learning environment, which effectively boosts students’ motivation to study Arabic.</p>Muhtadinsholahudin

<p><em>This study aims to analyze the relationship between the implementation of Islamic values and the level of student orderliness at Muhammadiyah Junior High School. The background of this research lies in the importance of character education in shaping students' orderly behavior, particularly through Islamic values, which form the foundation of Muhammadiyah educational institutions. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of seventh and eighth-grade students, with a sample of 133 students selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument used is a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression analysis.The results indicate that both the implementation of Islamic values and the level of student orderliness are categorized as high. The Pearson correlation test shows a positive and significant relationship between the two variables, with r = 0.612 and a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The regression analysis reveals that Islamic values contribute 37.5% to students’ orderliness, while the remaining 62.5% is influenced by other factors. The study concludes that the better the implementation of Islamic values, the higher the level of student orderliness. Therefore, strengthening the internalization of Islamic values in the school environment is a crucial strategy in shaping students’ character, discipline, and moral behavior.</em></p>NurjanahSularnoDadang Jenal Mutaqin

<p>The competence of school principals is at stake in this era, covering holistically various areas of life so that there are no longer visible concrete binding boundaries, as a result a good filter is needed. This research aims to analyze the strategic role of school principal leadership in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Jakarta. Using a qualitative approach through case studies, this research collected data through in-depth interviews with school principals, PAI teachers, and students, learning observations, and analysis of school documents. Research findings show that school principals apply a transformational leadership model with a focus on three main aspects: (1) developing the professionalism of PAI teachers through training programs and academic supervision, (2) integrating Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) values in all school activities, and (3) learning innovation through the use of digital technology. The results can be seen in improving the quality of the PAI learning process and strengthening students' religious character. The obstacles faced include disparities in students' religious understanding and limited learning support facilities. This research concludes that the effectiveness of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of PAI is very dependent on the consistency of program implementation, support from all stakeholders, and the development of a conducive school environment. <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p><strong>Background:</strong> The formation of leadership character from an early age has become an urgent need in facing global challenges in the current era. Student organizations at the elementary school level have the potential to become strategic platforms for developing leadership character by integrating Muhammadiyah values. <strong>Objective:</strong> This research aims to analyze the role of student organizations in developing leadership character in elementary education through the implementation of Muhammadiyah values. <strong>Method:</strong> Descriptive qualitative research was conducted at MI Nurul Islam in South Tangerang City involving 80 students, 9 supervising teachers, and 1 principal. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions. <strong>Results:</strong> Student organizations proved effective in developing six dimensions of leadership character: integrity, responsibility, effective communication, empathy, creativity, and cooperation. The integration of Muhammadiyah values through noble character programs, social care, and the spirit of tajdid strengthened the formation of leadership character. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> The leadership character development model through student organizations with a Muhammadiyah values approach proved capable of forming prospective leaders with integrity and noble character from an early age.</p> <p><strong> Keywords:</strong> leadership character, student organizations, elementary education, Muhammadiyah values, character development</p>Izza UmamiDien Nurmarina Malik Fajar
